What Results Should You Expect When You Begin Taking Chlorella?
The first thing is better digestion, especially if you have bad breath or constipation. Both these are readily handled by taking small doses of chlorella. However, many of the benefits of chlorella are subtle and not easily determined by how a person feels.
For instance, chlorella has been demonstrated to remove heavy metals and other synthetics from the body by actually binding with them so they may be pulled from the bloodstream. However, this result can only be measured if the level of heavy metals in the bloodstream are known before and after a person starts taking chlorella.
It takes approximately 3-6 months once starting chlorella for heavy metals to begin to be removed from the blood depending on the amount of chlorella taken. If it has been determined that a person does have heavy metals in their body, they should begin by taking 3-4 teaspoons per day depending on the level of heavy metals that are present. Remember that chlorella is a food and as such is very safe.
Chlorella can be taken at any time of the day. It can be taken all at once but preferably it should be taken in small dosages throughout the day. Because of the fiber content in chlorella's cell wall and other nutritional factors, when some people begin to take chlorella for the first time they may go through cleansing reactions, sometimes referred to as a "healing crisis". Dimethylaminoethenol (DMAE) is a metabolite, a product produced by the body's metabolic process of procaine. It is a central nervous system stimulant that has a mild impact. It's effect is similar to an amphetamine, but it is not such a drug. The term DMAE is actually an abbreviation for dimethylaminoethanol, a naturally occurring chemical produced by the human brain. It is a choline molecule that has one methyl group missing from the nitrogen, and it may be for this reason that it can cross the blood-brain barrier more easily than choline. While choline is known to be the precursor of acetylcholine, a recognized neurotransmitter, DMAE may prove to offer a more direct approach to this function by moving into the brain, being acted on by an enzyme (methylation), and thereby undergoing conversion into choline directly where it is needed.
Although free-radicals are a natural result of the human body's activity, the human equilibrium may be upset because of modern diet and environmental conditions that add further stressors to the system. Taste: Bitter. Recommended to put into capsules using capsule filler device. May also be mixed with hot liquid like coffee. Some start with 50mg and work up depending on how they feel.
